Puberphonia, also known as mutational falsetto, is a voice disorder characterized by the persistence of a high-pitched voice beyond the age of puberty. Typically observed in adolescent males, this condition results when the voice does not transition to the lower pitch expected after the vocal cords undergo natural changes during puberty.
