When speaking, hypernasality happens when too much air escapes from the nose, frequently as a result of anatomical or functional problems. In order to lower nasal emissions and improve speech quality, our treatment focuses on enhancing velopharyngeal function. By use of focused exercises and strategies, we assist patients in achieving speech that sounds more natural and clear.
